    Good blast out yesterday, sun shining roads almost dry. Still running ok with E10 fuel only trouble being it brings out the hooligan in me, blasting through the gears and popping wheelies. 65 next month, too early to calm down though 😀

    Still not noticing any problems wrt performance, takes a bit more warm up time but always was a B when cold!

    Still running well with no problems but would appreciate suggestions for reinforcing wear/rub areas next time I have the tank off.

    Tank off to check the battery out and found damage to the fuel line, outer, and more rub marks on the tank underside. Fuel line renewed, cracking service from spares, better routing now hopefully. Front tank bobbin raised a washer to keep the tank off the frame.

    Wrt performance, I’ve so far run a coupe of tank fulls on the Harley, a tank full on the Spitfire and don’t notice any difference. Plastic tanks another issue? I tried Ascerbis, no joy, but hopefully all is ok. So far so good, I believe modern materials to be tolerant of Ethanol from what I can read, watch this space!

    That rear subframe for the plate mount etc. always looked wrong in my opinion, first thing to be modded on my Scrambler!

    Started ok at -3,just a touch of throttle only. The (cold start), used for HOT starts only!

    Best gearbox I have, Triumph, Sportster, Norton! Even with a gammy foot.
