Poor starting

Only had my CR a few weeks but I have struggled to start her, (parked in garage not heated). Reading through the forum I have tried the suggested methods, hand/cold throttle only, no throttle, slight hand throttle but none seem to be a fix? The battery has coped with the excessive cranking until now but the last time I tried there was a loud backfire and since then the bike is dead! The keyfob won’t energize the dash, not even a clock is displayed. Though it might have blown a fuse but I have checked and all are intact including the main fuse and starter solenoid fuse. Don’t know if it is normal for the battery to reach a certain low voltage and shut down? but I wouldn’t expect it to go from able to crank to nothing at all, not even the clock? I haven’t received delivery of my new battery charger so can’t test/charge the battery yet, any help would be appreciated?
Update! New charger arrived! plugged in yesterday and it recovered the battery 😀 and it trickle charged back to full👍 Full of confidence the fob energised the dash everything working, pressed fire, high speed cranking but no hint if firing. Took the pug out it was wet, cleaned and dried it, spun the engine to clear any fuel from the cylinder, refitted the plug still no joy 🥲 removed the plug again test cranked it against the head very poor intermittent yellow spark but up inside the electrode post.
So I have ordered a new iridium plug CR8EIX hoped for delivery today but 6” of snow won’t help! I’ll try the new plug and hope that fixes it? If not I think I will need to book my first visit of the white van from CCM.Hi
If the bike was running ok before the battery issues and engine flooding , try holding the end of the plug over a flame to dry it out, then clean it
