    Hi,

Finally got my first service done at home last week. Many thanks to newbie Technician Ryan. Bike certainly feels better for it and having the updated side stand fitted has made a difference, with the bike now not sitting so upright when parked.

Have just recently realised that no matter how slowly/carefully I fill the tank, it traps loads of air. The secret is to repeatedly nudge the bike when filling up to let the air escape – hopefully without it blowing fuel out all over the tank! I now get much better range before the low fuel light comes on. Now, if I could just get it out of first gear at a standstill……

    Cheers,
    Steve.

    Hi,

I have just recently had the updated stand fitted to my Bobber and there is a definite improvement over the original version. However, just for peace of mind when parked up, I hook a short bungee between the lower part of the stand and the footrest to prevent the stand flipping up if the bike is nudged or moved by anybody.

    Cheers,
    Steve.

Hi John. Hope you enjoy your new bike when you finally get to ride it. When I try to book a service, it says that my bike is still on order – even though I have had it for around 8 months now! Cannot select an option for home servicing, so don’t know if this is currently suspended due to covid restrictions. Awaiting reply to email enquiry. I went for the Stealth Bobber due to lower seat height, but still find it a bit of a stretch – good job the bike is so light.
