Hi Mel, the seat is held on by two Allen bolts underneath the seat at the back. They are quite long not sure the size of head but the seat then slides back as the front is held down by some lugs that slide under a metal loop. As for the tank there is a removal video. There are a couple of nuts that hold it down under the tank. I’ll see if I can copy the link to the video for you. All the best Justin

Shaun Armstrong fuel line comes off either at the tank or lower down have look at the video.

Sounds like a grand day out. I know exactly what you mean about the smile factor. You just catch yourself.

Hi Martin, well I’ve finally finished, apart from getting a couple of nicer bolts to go underneath (they won’t be seen but I know). The indicators are very bright and a good distance apart. The wiring was fairly easy and I’m just really really pleased with the look even though the photo is a bit rubbish. I’ll try to take some others when the weather improves. Thanks for all your suggestions and links.

    Hi Martin,

That looks a great solution. Think I may go down the same route. Looks very neat. Where did you get the parts from, if you don’t mind me asking?

Thanks Martin, I couldn’t see the pictures though (probably me not spotting the link). I think side number plates are ok as long as they are the correct size, correct lettering etc and are “clearly visible and unobstructed”. But I will definitely be keeping the arm just in case… I think the winter project will be to add the atto’s and maybe get a friend of mine to 3d print some mounting blocks. If I get round to it I’ll post some details and results 🙂
    Thanks

    Justin

Hi, I just purchased second hand (not that you’d know it) my 2019 Spitfire Cafe Racer. Absolutely love it (also have a Triumph speed triple which is just as lovely). Can’t stop riding around the lanes of Dorset. Service booked in and a few little additions. Customer service has been fantastic. Been on the facebook group and only slightly worrk is that the previous owner has removed the rear mudguard/numberplate holder and gone for a small numberplate side holder. Looks amazing but I’m worried about the indicators. Will the led’s behind the seat be enough or do I have to re-attach the rear contraption that has everything? Any advice welcome.
