    Hi everyone. Just signed up.

I’ve been riding for 21 years, but a petrol head forever.

I currently have an S1000RR Sport (up for sale) as my road bike & a K8 GSXR 750 track bike.

I’m looking to change direction with my road riding. I’m just going too fast, too frequently and I’ve loved the look of CCM’s for ages, but seeing them again at the Goodwwod Festival of Speed reignited my interest, so I’m hoping to get some advice on here about getting my first CCM.

    Welcome Andy.

I’m sure most of us have been there with lots of thrust at the command of the right wrist….that BMW of yours would probably lose you your license in first gear and without the electronic assistants, would be too much of a handful to ride anyway.

It’s refreshing to ride the CCM series of 600 singles as you feel much more part of the action – no electronics just the rider’s feel via the levers, pegs and bars, and with lightweight and great engine braking, removing the need to be “see-sawing” between brake and throttle when attacking a twisty road.

In fact lots of our customers liken getting on their Spitfires to riding their first bike because of the purity and simplicity of the ride.

Let us know if you need more info.

    Thanks John

I’ve done a deal with The Bike Specialists and a Cafe Racer should be with me next Monday / Tuesday.

Andy, welcome to the CCM club! I’m in Liphook, just up the road from you. Happy to meet up for a ride when time allows. I have a CCM Spitfire Bobber. I got it for the same reasons you said you went for a CCM. Had mine about a year now and love riding it. Let me know if you’d like to get together for a ride sometime. Cheers, Steve

    Hi Steve

Stupidly short notice, but I’m going out for a ride this evening. Give me a buzz on 07900 568093 if you can join me.
