Mark arrived at CCM Towers last week to collect our shiny Maverick prototype. After seeing one of our bikes on last year’s Malle Rally, his curiosity was pricked and an order was placed for a Street Tracker which he hoped would arrive in time for his ride.
Whilst production hadn’t begun in time for the big ride, CCM stepped in and offered Mark the loan of one of our Maverick demo bikes, a perfect machine for taking on the length of Britain via proper biking back roads.

The time has come to throw open the doors to CCM’s Hangar ’71 for a special open day this June!
On Saturday 11 June, we welcome you to meet the team and try out our current range of bikes on the road.
Also on hand during the day will be biking legends Niall Mackenzie & Neil Hodgson, the bikers behind our Insurance partners, Mackenzie Hodgson Insurance.
We’ve just signed up to a couple of great summer events where you can try out one of our bikes.
The MCN Festival in Peterborough is the first dedicated bike festival in the calendar and runs from 14 to 15 May. As well as the usual live action and motorcycles displays and stalls, Dougie Lampkin will be joining us on the Saturday for a friendly chat and the odd selfie!
A few short weeks later sees the return of the biggest adventure bike event in the calendar, The Adventure Bike Festival at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire with more test rides, live music and guest speakers from the world of adventure travel.
To register for a test ride for these and find out more about forthcoming events, visit our Events section HERE
We’d love to hear your biking stories – It could simply be the connection you have with your bike, or your travels. Maybe you have an amusing tale and don’t forget your pictures too.
Our bikes are an extension of us, They transcend being just a humble vehicle for transportation. They bring us joy, they give us a direct connection to our surroundings, providing fabulous peripheral vision, enabling us to hear and smell our environment bringing a more visceral experience than four wheels ever can.
104 years ago today saw the birth of one of Britain’s greatest institutions, The ROYAL AIR FORCE. The very first air force to be independent of army and naval forces, The RAF became one of the most important forces to defend our shores.
CCM created the RAFBF100 to commemorate 100 years of the RAF with £1000 from every bike sold being donated to the RAF Benevolent Fund, the charity set up to care for service personnel and their families.
Each bike comes with its own personalised book, featuring the story of the RAF, CCM’s Spitfire and the RAF Benevolent Fund and the great work that they do.
