After an exciting build up, the new Spitfire Blackout was revealed at the eccentric and eclectic Malle Mile event. After so many of this year’s firm fixtures in the biking calendar were cancelled, it was even more enjoyable to be surrounded by fellow bikers at this fabulous open air biking festival in the stunning surroundings of Kevington Hall in Kent.

Sat alongside the new Blackout was one of the actual bikes ridden in the Black Widow movie. Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh may have graced the dual saddle of this special version of our Scrambler, however the magic was created by one of the greatest stunt riders currently in action; Frenchwoman Sarah Lezito. You can see the bike in the new Black Widow movie at a cinema near you on 06 November!

Also on display was a stunt bike of yore, the world record bus-jumping CCM of the legendary Eddie Kidd; it took real bravery to take a leap of faith back in those days without the huge travel suspension, computer-aided ramp design and bike telemetry in use today.

The Malle Mile is all about taking part and a few of the CCM gang came along to try their hand on a couple of stock Scramblers with some great results. Novice Owen Davies from the design team fared incredibly well for a first attempt, winning a number of his heats, but the star of the show was mobile technician Ben Lightbown who saw off all-comers and took the overall event title! Congratulations to Ben and the rest of the team. You can see him in action here.
