My bobber kept cutting out from the very first ride for nearly two years. Slowing down for lights, stopping to turn right, going round roundabouts etc leaving me in dangerous situations. The mobile boys kept coming out and tweaking things that seemed to last for a few miles but it kept cutting out until I emailed Steve again and said my warranty is nearly up and I haven’t got what I paid for. I have a bike I can’t trust. They collected my bobber saying they would go right through it and solve this cutting out problem once and for all. And it turned out to be a faulty fuel injector and it’s never cut out since.

My bobber kept cutting out from day one. Slowing down for lights, going round roundabouts, stopping to turn right etc etc. The service boys kept coming out and trying different things that seemed to work for a few miles. But it carried on for at least 18 months till I had enough and told CCM they could either sort it once and for all or have it back as it’s dangerous. They recalled it and once back at CCM they realised it was a faulty fuel injector. And since that has been replaced it’s NEVER cut out again. This is a common fault with these and Steve Bridgeman knows this as they used my bobber to strip down and solve this problem once and for all. Hope this helps mike

If you go through the accessories and save the ones you want to your wish list. The discount is applied once there in there. Give it a try.

I’ve just fitted the new side stand and must say I feel a lot more confident in it .I have not had the chance to ride it yet and see if it scrapes round corners?? As it’s pouring with rain here! Must say Thankx to CCM for sending it so quick, nice one!

Hey jckman8, mine was exactly the same. Kept cutting out gearing down etc. It is the tick over speed that needs adjusting to around 1700. Since adjusting mine it hasn’t cut out since. Happy days!!

Hey Steve that’s good to hear. Was that with red funnel from Southampton. Were looking to move over there this year and I would rather ride my bike than put it in my van. Cheers mate

Cheers for the reply John, Stu and Adam did the first service. I had a lot of problems with the bike cutting out as I geared down etc. The boys raised the tick over to cure this. I have just lowered it to around 1700 and took it for a spin and it hasn’t cut out as of yet.. So hopefully it will stay like that!

Hey Sswinno I had the same problem with my bobber, I couldn’t gear down. I adjusted the gear level and now it’s fine.

Cheers Dixie, the breather does seem a bit wobbly. I’ll try adjusting it and tightening it up. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks again.

Hi John, thanks for replying mate. I had the first service a few months back. Probably only done about a hundred miles since. Haven’t topped it up since then. Done about forty miles on it today . Then noticed oil dripping down the engine case and dripping out the breather filter.

Hey Jukses I have all them same issues with my bobber. It’s always stalled since I had it. Got to the point where I only take it on the motorway. Fed up with it stalling as I gear down to stop at the lights or going round roundabout’s etc.

My bobber has never been out in the rain and lives in my garage. Yet I have the same rust issues. Side stands going rusty, spring is totally rusty. Rust of the radiator cover etc. Doesn’t like starting , cuts out gearing down. Not what I expected for a 10k + bike
