Hi Amy
Please stick with your bike, once you get the first service done it will be a different beast.
my foggy s had the same issues, cutting out at inconvenient times, neutral being had to find etc. Once I mentioned this to the mechanic, he worked his magic and the bike was transformed.
I have found out that the best people to speak to first if you have problems is your mobile mechanic, assuming you have chosen home servicing, as they tend to be more up to speed than the factory.
With regards to your suspension issues, I spent an hour at FTR Suspension who are based in Sutton, Cambridgeshire and they certainly know how to make a bike more enjoyable to ride.
Hope this helps.
Peter
I had a similar problem with my Foggy S fitted with ohlins front and rear, far to hard right from the word go.
Backed eveything off at the front , still horrible.
Not sure where you are located but after spending roughly 1 hour at FTR Suspension who are based in Sutton in Cambridgeshire, they worked their magic and have transformed how the bike handles and feels.

Had my Foggy S for just under 2 months.
First service completed, ohlins tweaked, never fails to put a smile on my face every time I ride.
Lightweight, neutral handling, stunning looks.
What more can I say 😀
I tried Mckenzie/Hodgson…………… overpriced by a large amount !!
Ended up calling Bennetts, very helpful and excellent price for my very specked up foggy s.
Hi Simon
With regards to the DVLA, all I did was check online every few hours. As for a contact number, just use the one on the page where you are given the result of your enquiry and follow the options ( be prepared for a frustrating wait ).
CLEARANCE FOR TAKE OFF 😱😱😱
After yet another long wait on the phone to the DVLA, all relevant paperwork has been processed and the “ beastie “ is ready to be let loose 🏍
First stop…… the petrol station and then ??
Well, after nearly 18 months the “beastie” has finally arrived.
Looks stunning in the sunshine however, thanks to the DVLA not doing their “thing” I am not able to ride it yet🤬🤬
Hi Neil
I was contacted by Craig and told that delivery was imminent.
Paul from the delivery team called last week to arrange delivery on 20/04.
Now all I am waiting for is the DVLA to register it, called them and they have not processed the application yet ( and they have been on strike 🤬🤬 ).
I keep checking online every couple of hours in hope but alas, it looks like all I will be doing is sitting looking at the “beastie”
After much consideration, I decided to throw caution to the wind and went for the Ohlins option.
Totally agree about the way the bike looks with the new style fairing.
How do the rest of the expectant Foggy S owners feel about changes ?
I have chosen Misty Lava frame colour.
With regards to the fairing, I was told that the original one was only 3d printed and not suitable for the finished bike.
I know that the world is a different place from 12 months ago when I ordered at the NEC and the small print says that they have the right to change, but I am sensing that maybe they should offer a choice of fairings. Either like the show bike with a clear screen or with a solid “screen”.
I am not sure that I like the idea of spending my hard earned money on a bike that is, as far as I am concerned, different from what I saw, liked and ordered at the show. It has crossed my mind that maybe I should possibly change my mind and cancel my order.
