    I’ve got a Spitfire Cafe Racer which I love in every way, apart from the earache it gives me,even when using custom fit ear plugs! Does anyone have any ideas, retrofitting something, different pipes (which would be a shame), etc.

    I can’t believe it complies with the law.

    When my Cafe Racer was in for the frame swap at the risk of being considered a milksop I asked if there was any way too make my ears stop bleeding. When the bike was returned it had different baffles. Result. No longer offensively loud. Ordinary ear plugs work fine. Worth dropping a line to parts/service.

    Sorted. Sent the baffles back to CCM and they fitted some discs to the inside end. Still sounds great but ears have stopped bleeding.
