side stand stay down?

Has anybody found a way to convert the side stand so it does’nt spring back up, like most Bikes?

If you hold the bike upright and take pressure off the stand, it´ll flip up. If it doesn´t flip up and it stays down, you won´t be able to start or use the starter (unless you disable the switch on ther frame). Why do you want it to stay down?

hi mate, I want the stand to stay down until I push it back up is what i meant.

if the stand flips up and you’re on the other side of the bike (while you are repositioning the bike or something ) it will be a bit inconvenient ?
(a safety thing i rekon so people don’t ride off with it down! ) you then have to climb over the bike to put the stand back down!
also taking it off a paddock when the side is down will make life a lot easier.
