I’m sure this is isn’t an issue but has anyone changed the front brake fluid container for something a little more good looking? Looking at Rizoma, as they produce multi fit products. Just wasn’t sure on the bracket.

    Hi, David
The small reservoir bracket on the Spitfires is the neatest with its mounting bolt, I am just changing mine to Brembo RCS masters with AEM Factory titanium integrated reservoirs, though Brembo smoked reservoirs are nice.

    Hi David

I’ve fitted a Rizoma reservoir to my Flat Tracker as shown in the photos attached.
I found a ‘Chinese’ bracket on ebay for about £10. I used 2 x rubber washers and 2 x ali washers to create a rubber mount with a shouldered bolt.
A bit of a faf but I think it looks good!!

Top tip – use some loctite on the small screw for the bracket angle adjustment, they come can come loose and drop out!!!

Thanks for the info chaps, did you manage to do the job without bleeding the brakes(the pinching of the tube and pouring out method)?

    Hi, David
With a blead nipple at the highest point on the master cylinder it’s possible to prime a dry cylinder (cover the blead nipple with your finger on the out stroke ) or blead just the master cylinder (possible to swop master cylinders if your careful with the brake line ). don’t forget Dot4 is nasty stuff

Thanks Martin, not sure I’m too comfortable with potential air in the system, I’ll wait for the first service and see whether the mobile service techs will install.

    Hi Martin
Do you have th change the original brembo fitted master to install the AEG reservoir? Won’t it just fit

    Hi, Andy
AEM do a few types of mounting bracket!
With the standard master cylinder (semi radial) , billet lever set on its widest span , I changed the pushrod length from 18mm to 19mm to reduce the free play on the lever , I was using a lot of lever pressure braking (twin disc fitted). I chose the Brembo RCS radial master for its adjustability, including the lever pivot ratio , I have it set as a heavy lever and it still gives me more braking power for a lot less lever pressure (both masters are 19mm bore). Then i had to find a reservoir , it doesn’t have a mounting bolt like the standard, AEM integrated was neatest (Brembo made a design change for the blead nipple for 2021), clutch master has linear lever pull weight !
    regards martin
