Heated Kit

Hi All,

Santa bought me a pair of heated grips which I’m keen to get fitted to my Scrambler, but I’m struggling to get the tank off. I got the bolts out and disconnected the breather but was stumped by the fuel line – couldn’t even see it clearly to see what you need to undo. If my ageing memory serves me right there used to be a video on removing the tank – can anybody point me to it please?

And while I’m there, is there any reason I can’t attach a cable for a heated jacket too? Will the bike have the oomph to power both?

Hi, Tim and Tim
There is a tank removal instructions PDF ! Posted with photos showing where to disconnect the fuel pipe .
The CCM specs. say the alternator output is 390w , a nice increase on the Rotax 604e 190w ,

Hi guys, I found it easier to disconnect the fuel pipe from the carburettor end.
