I’ve hust taken my 6 out for a lovely 50 mile round trip unsuccessfully dodging the Autumn showers so that it needed its first serious wash when I got back. Now, the aim of this post is to warn others of the potential perils this entails. I’ve been left with a lacerated finger after catching it on something sharp trying to get into one of the many nooks and crannies. I shall make sure I wear thick rubber gloves next time and I offer this free piece of advice to the rest of you so that you don’t suffer the same fate.

    Hi Colin
I’m sorry to hear that – do you know where the offending object is located?

I use a detailing brush for the nooks and crannies.
As a young engineering apprentice I was always told don’t put your finger where you wouldn’t put your thingy.
