I’ve just paid the amount payable balance on my bike and was told it’s “now in line to the finishing team”. Very vague & non-commital as ever. Any idea how long that might be?Kind regards Tim
Hi I have been given today 15th August as build date, cant help feeling a bit excited despite all the people waiting, we shall see.

I was asked last week to pay the balance due on mine. Was told “Your Bike is now in the Line-up for Finishing / PDI, once completed we’ll be in touch to arrange your Handover.”
I have read on this forum that “finishing” can take a few weeks. But hey ho – we’re getting there!

Really great to hear that Mavericks are actually getting out to their new owners at last.Any tips on how to ‘take’ a CCM delivery?

I’m pleased for you Ian, lucky you, no doubt you are now out and about enjoying yourself. You said you received your handbook on 12th August and your delivery was 24th but when where you asked for payment?
I paid up on 19th and was told delivery could be another 4 weeks. Unfortunately 3 weeks ago I was told my bike would be ready in 2 weeks so I’m not at all confident about anything I hear from the sales team. However, I’m keeping my fingers crossed and hoping it arrives before the weather changes.

Side stand bracket issues have led to a delay. My maverick should, hopefully, be ready for delivery by the end of the month.
I replied saying I was delighted to hear some news, any news, even bad news, on the bike’s production journey.

Yes I got one as well saying problem with side stands and my build date is now 12th so delivery mid October, I also replied good to get some information.Hi,
Anyone know if a new Maverick needs ‘running in’ at all? Maybe just a bit of gentleness perhaps? Never had a new bike before!
This might affect my route home to London and if I need to find a friend around the half way point for a stop-off. Ha haI’m assuming we’ll be told about what documentation we need to bring, hand-over proceedure etc. nearer the time. Maybe not.
