There are a number of ways to lower the bike
1 Change the seat
2 Change the suspension – expensive!
3 Put supermoto wheels on – ok if solely for the road
4 add the low bike suspension linkage
5 add more pre-load to the spring and drop the forks through the yokes – this increases the spring rate thereby compromising the plush nature of the bikes handling.
If you can live with the tall bike with the lower seat you will have fabulous on-off road capabilities however if it is still too lofty, source a low-suspension model try the facebook pages as you may find one there for the next best thing
