We are looking for experienced Supplier Quality Assurance Manager with strong Supplier Quality Assurance skill and knowledge of automotive/motorcycle parts and components. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a British Motorcycle manufacturer working with one of the most successful and exciting brands in the naked motorcycle market today.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and lead our team of SQA engineers in line with the growth of our business.
- Devise a Supplier Quality Manual to act as a guidebook for supplier interactions with CCM.
- Develop a supplier audit process for both new and existing suppliers.
- Plan and execute a supplier audit schedule.
- Support the product development and launch teams by carrying out audits on potential new suppliers.
- Support the operations team to ensure ongoing quality by carrying out surveillance audits on existing suppliers.
- Implement and apply the APQP and PPAP methodologies across all inbound bought out components.
- Manage supplier quality issues working closely with internal and external technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Develop methodologies to detect and record quality issues identified at goods inward inspection or during the assembly and test processes.
- Liaise with the Supply Chain and Product functions to ensure customer design and specification requirements are fully understood.
- Lead investigations into adverse quality incidents and trends to help identify root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Generation and presentation of reports, metrics and action plans pertaining to the SQA function.
- Carry out any other tasks that will, from time to time be allocated by the Operations Director.
Employer expectations:
- A thorough understanding of “what good looks like” with respect to SQA techniques and methodologies, including but not limited to APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans etc.
- An ability to lead suppliers thorough and detailed audit and analysis on an independent basis.
- Ability in resolving quality problems of a technical nature.
- Ability to critical review supplier documentation and support supplier to the required standard.
- Good understanding and appreciation of manufacturing processes. Comfortable interpreting engineering drawings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, be able to work as part of a team and build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
- Must be available relatively immediately (short notice periods will be considered).
- Knowledge of automotive/motorcycles systems, components and parts.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Self-motivated.
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
- SQA professional.
- Building or working within a mature supplier quality assurance function, preferably within the automotive sector.
- Significant experience with problem solving techniques such as 8D and CAR reporting.
- Knowledge and understanding of ISO9001 & TS16949.

CCM Motorcycles are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate finance assistant to work within the finance department. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a British Motorcycle manufacturer working with one of the most successful and exciting brands in naked motorcycle market today. Role will be based in Bolton, Greater Manchester.
Main Responsibilities:
To support the Finance Manager with business accounting activities. This includes raising, sending and paying invoices, reconciling company accounts and chasing late payments. Assisting with basic administration tasks, answering queries raised by staff or external clients or providers. You will be expected to help document and maintain the business’ finance procedures, updating and implementing wherever necessary.
Daily tasks could typically include:
- Invoice processing
- Processing expense requests
- Credit control
- Cash book maintenance
- Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers
- Banking and bank reconciliations
- Raising sales invoices
- Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers
- Basic administration
- Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
- Quarterly VAT return reviews
- Part-exchange bike register & process
- Stock control
- Liaise with procurement, stores, production and finance to ensure stock transactions accurately recorded and reflected on the Sage system
- Periodic and ad-hoc stock counts and reconciliations to Sage system
- Assist the Finance Director to develop, implement and maintain reporting across the company
- Assist the Finance Director to compile and produce annual budgets, regular forecasts and business plans as and when required
- Sales ledger maintenance including processing service invoices.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the following qualities;
- The ideal candidate will have the equivalent or above AAT level 2 finance qualification and in excess of 12 months experience working in a commercial finance department.The company is currently switching from Sage50 to a full ERP and finance software. Experience on Sage50 and / or ERP will be an advantage. Please confirm your full systems experience and knowledge within your application.
- A positive can-do attitude with the willingness to learn.
- High level of accuracy, analytical skills and be able to communicate clearly, written and verbal.
Working hours normally 8:30-5:00 Monday – Friday.

To underpin our current period of growth, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Design Engineer.
In your role, you will be part of a small, agile, engineering team, working as a lead product line chassis and component design engineer.
Leading your project cross-functionally, you will be responsible for the specification, design, development and procurement of components, assemblies and systems that contribute to world class-leading motorcycles – from concept ideation to industrialisation.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will own the product creation process, working flexibly with Manufacturing, Product Strategy and Sourcing teams, whilst ensuring conformity to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design systems and components for new model and facelift chassis projects, considering function, cost, manufacturing, assembly and quality.
- Produce 3D CAD models using Solidworks (experience of other CAD packages also considered) to the required approval and release standard.
- Design components and systems to comply with regulatory requirements (UK & EU) and to internal test procedures.
- Lead Cross-functional design and approval management reviews.
- Liaise with internal functional stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical and business needs.
- Liaise with external suppliers to ensure design for manufacture feedback is incorporated.
- Plan & manage time, workload and reporting requirements effectively.
- Create and manage timing plans for own areas of responsibility.
- Create and manage BoM & supplier delivery plans for own areas of responsibility.
- Support development programmes with the testing of components and motorcycles.
- Provide engineering guidance to other team members.
Qualifications:
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline (Automotive, Motorsport, Mechanical, Aeronautical).
Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in engineering design of components and subassemblies.
- Detailed knowledge of modern manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in 3D CAD & rudimentary FEA Analysis.
- Experience of creating and releasing 2D technical drawings.
- Thorough understanding of motorcycle chassis layout and construction.
- Practical experience of motorcycle maintenance and preparation is advantageous.
- Experience in designing to global regulatory requirements specifically to motorcycles.
- Experience of leading design and senior management reviews.
- Experience of delivering to KPi / Product Creation Process organisational requirements.

We are currently recruiting for Mobile Motorcycle Technicians in
- Northern UK Region (North West Based).

Our customers enjoy the benefit of our expert Mobile Technicians visiting their homes in fully fitted mobile workshops (that will be provided for the successful candidates) in the form of their own personal VW Crafter or equivalent, fully equipped to service and maintain our customers motorcycles at their homes.
Role Responsibilities
In this role, you will deliver our factory service maintenance schedules, provide our customers with bespoke bike set-up support, update our models with factory product improvements and inform the future product development process with valuable factory feedback.
Experience Required
- Proven Motorcycle (or Automotive with active interest in motorcycles) Service Technician.
- Mobile & Roadside Repair Vehicle Technicians are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours
- This isn`t a typical 9 to 5 job - It will require commitment and there will be the occasional times when longer hours are required.
- These working patterns will also provide you with the flexibility to manage your diaries and daily finish times.
Salary
- From £36k basic + (OTE + Commission scheme).
