CCM Racing Head Off To Bulgaria For Round 1 Of The FIM World MX1 Championship

Buildbase CCM Racings’ 2 MX1 GP riders Tom Church and Stephen Sword will head off to Bulgaria in the next week to begin their assault on the 2010 FIM World MX1 Championship.
Fresh from their success at British Championship level, both riders are prepared to begin their international season aboard their CCM CMX 450 MX bikes.
The new 2010 CMX450 has a revised suspension setting and improved engine power. Both riders are very happy with their bikes and the way they have made big strides in the early part of the season to reach good set ups on their bikes. The target for Buildbase CCM Racing for 2010 is to win the British MX1 Championship and to achieve a top 10 position in the World MX1 Championships.

Stephen Sword who is the current British MX2 Champion and is currently lying in 2nd place in the 2010 MX1 British Championship said “I feel very much at home in this team and we can see that every effort is being made by the team to give me what I need to achieve CCM’s targets both at home and on the GP scene. 2010 should be an exciting year for both me and the CCM team.”

Tom Church who is in his second year with Buildbase CCM Racing and finished top British rider in the 2009 MX1 World Championship commented “09 was a good learning year for Buildbase CCM Racing and we have a lot to build on from last season. This year the team are more focused and we can deal with issues more quickly and we are in a good position for the start of the season compared to 09, last year it took us a few months to get our act together but this year we are on it from the beginning”

Four times World MX Champion and Buildbase CCM’s Sporting Director said” we are looking forward to Bulgaria and the start of our international campaign, the most important thing is that we come away from this with a respectable result and injury free, it is a long season and there is a lot for Buildbase CCM Racing to achieve.”
